• Tuesday 24 October 2023 Young Artist Rotary Competition Winners A massive congratulations to all students who put their artwork forward for the recent Young Artist Rotary Competition. St John’s Academy’s entries were voted the best in Perthshire, beating 9 other state schools and 2 private schools in the area. This is a huge achievement, and we are delighted to be awarded this prize. Well done to all!

• Friday 10 February 2023 Awards for two S6 pupils St John’s Academy pupils Diesel Ferguson and Noah Law have been awarded a Courier Gold Star for their innovative work on recycling.
• Tuesday 22 November 2022 Instrumental Evening On Tuesday 22 November the Music department are holding an Instrumental Evening. Pupils who receive instrumental lessons in the school will be performing a selection of pieces. There will be solo players, duets, and small groups.
• Monday 21 November 2022 School Photos On Monday 21 November photographers from Tempest will be in school to take pupil photos. Please make sure full school uniform is worn for this.
• Friday 14 October 2022 Chromebooks We have refurbished around 20 old laptops and installed Chrome Flex on them. These are primarily for pupils who do not have a device at home. The laptops are loaned till the end of the academic year.
• Thursday 29 September 2022 Modern Apprenticeship A list of local apprenticeships is updated daily and may be of interest to some of our Senior Pupils.

• Monday 19 September 2022 Bank Holiday The 19th of September will be a bank holiday to mark the last day of the period of National Mourning after the passing of Queen Elizabeth II. St John's RC Academy will be closed.
• Saturday 3 September 2022 SQA Exam dates The SQA have announced the 2023 exam dates for National 5, Higher and Advanced Higher.
• Monday 29 August 2022 Digital Schools Award In June 2022, we were awarded the prestigious national Digital Schools Award. This is a testament to the hard work, determination, vision and dedication of our pupils, staff and parents.
